A 21-year-oldman who was stabbed to death in south London has been named.
Giovanny Rendon Bedoya was found with fatal knife wounds on Hillingdon Street on Monday.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yemi Amif, 39, a mother of one who works in financial services told Metro of the ‘carnage’ after the killing.
She said: ‘There was a woman screaming “help help help” over and over again.
‘She was hysterical, they were blood curdling the screams, it was terrible to hear. The next thing I knew the street was full of police cars and emergency services.
‘It was so shocking, just carnage. I’m thinking the woman screaming was the dead boy’s mum or relative but we don’t know.’
A pensioner who lives near the scene told Metro: ‘I heard a commotion and shouting and a woman was wailing, it was horrific.’
A grandmother told Metro: ‘My daughter lives in the block of flats opposite she said she heard screaming and running but thought it was just kids messing.
‘When she came out of her doorstep to see the cordon the next morning she was shell-shocked.
‘The police won’t tell her anything about how it happened but she’s been on edge since.’
A witness told Metro: ‘There was a chase and the lad was stabbed in the chest area. The paramedics were battling so hard to save him.

‘It was obvious that the damage to him was terrible. All our hearts go out to his family.’
Part of the street remains cordoned off as detectives continue door-to-door inquiries.
Meanwhile, specialist officers are trawling through CCTV and ring doorbell footage as part of the investigation.
Police and emergency services were called to Hillingdon Street in Walworth at around 9pm on Monday night, after reports of a stabbing.
Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated the 21-year-old man for stab injuries. Despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scotland Yard said enquiries are ongoing to find his family. Five men and a woman all in their 20s were arrested shortly after on suspicion of murder.
They all remain in police custody, pending further investigation.
Borough Commander Emma Bond said: ‘We understand this news is both shocking and unsettling to the community and a number of crime scenes remain in place.
