HOP'S SCRIMSHAW by Roger Hopper

A Scrimshaw artist since 1983. Use's fossil ivory from the Wooly Mammoth and Mastodons that have been extinct for more than 10,000 years as well as man-made materials to create original carvings and scrimshaw etchings. Then the original piece is used to develop a mold from which a polymer reproduction is hand cast. By using only fossil ivories and man-made materials he can honestly say "These Scrimshaw products truly do not endanger any wildlife."
